Heat Sealing Aluminium Foil

Heat sealing aluminum foil is a common practice, particularly in the food and pharmaceutical industries, for creating airtight, tamper-evident seals on various products. This process involves using heat and pressure to activate a sealant layer on the foil, bonding it securely to a container or another piece of foil.

Aluminium is used for packaging as it is highly malleable: it can be easily converted to thin sheets and folded, rolled or packed. Aluminium foil acts as a total barrier to light and oxygen (which cause fats to oxidize or become rancid), odour and flavour, moistness, and germs, and so it is used broadly in food and pharmaceutical packaging, including long-life packs (aseptic packaging) for drinks and dairy goods, which allows storing without refrigeration.

The compatibility of aluminum foil and heat sealing paint, together with the excellent thermal conductivity and stability of metal, make it an ideal material for all types of plastic milk container lids and heat seals. The aluminum foil cover for yogurt is used to process the yogurt film covering composite material, with the structure of polyester/aluminum foil/heat sealing layer (PET/AL/PE or EVA). The aluminium foil yogurt lids not only protect yogurt and are convenience for consumers to open drinks.
